Chipotle Mexican Grill in Alexandria

This place is pretty standard for a Chipotle. The food is as good as you would expect. Sometimes it gets a bit busy, but not usually more than a 10 - 15 minute wait. Indoor and outdoor seating and lots of parking.

I just ordered a burrito from there through Ubereats, I got the whole wrong order, I had so many different types of peppers in there I didn’t ask for. When I went to call they wouldn’t pick up and I called 6 times so far. Horrible customer service and even worse employees making the food

In my opinion is the best Mexican Grill I have ever tried and loved it 8 years ago

This place is good! Reasonable rates, large portions and the staff are always super nice.

As good a Chipotle as I've ever been to. This location has plenty of free parking, very fast service, and lots of room to sit. It even has nice outdoor seating with umbrellas.The food is good, what you'd come to expect from the franchise. They have online advance ordering that is convenient and accurate. It's the only Chipotle in the area, so I'm glad it's a good one! 😊

Order online and skip the wait. Love this option. The food tastes even better when I don't have to spend a long time in line.

I used to love having Chipotle at this place for a few years now. But recently I started noticing that they have become very stingy with the amount that they gave. Today would be my last time at this location. My food was very dry and all I could taste was the rice. I only had few pieces of meat. Smh please do better.

Probably one of the worst chipotle restaurants I've been to. They have to make use of the second set of ingredients on the other side of the register cuz they were trying to fix online orders in between the line in the store. Got too backed up and started missing things in my orders. Wife cheese wasn't melted in the quesadilla and it wasn't warmed at all. Mine was thrown together sloppily, cook couldn't pay attention because trying to make online orders in between, just a mess.

Food is incredible delicious and staff is perfect. It's exactly what I wanted. I was attended by Jose Sandoval. He was a very kind person while taking my order and very respectful. I would like to say that he is a very hardworking person and should be rewarded for his effort with attention to customers. There are many other people who don't work as they should but he has won a good prize. I saw how a lady treated him and he was so humble that didn't even say a word; I would say he's a strong person because overall I would cry I guess. Look at the sacrifice they do and don't be rude or go off on them cuz at the end they are just doing their job and we need to understand that and be patient and respectful with them same as they are with us.

I ordered the sofritas as my choice of protein and it was watered down. They barely gave you a full scoop of rice or beans. I added guacamole and it was only half of the spoon.

Have been to over one hundred different chipotle locations and consider myself a “super fan.” This location seemed to have low rating.. but I didn’t mind and waltzed right in. Not only were the portions skimpy (under 4oz. portion of meat) the service was abhorrent. None of the line workers want to be at work and it’s pervasive in their horrible attitudes that they display. With so many different places to get Mexican food and especially the chipotle brand, go the extra couple miles and avoid 6770 Richmond Hwy. Is it so hard to add a little extra rice or cheese here and there? We would love to know. - Jordan Greene.

Management needs to make sure that they have people cleaning the tables at all times. Especially during RUSH HOUR! The food was Good and staff was very polite!

Not a good place for people that can't eat spicy foods. Other than that, other people seems to enjoy the food.

No meat added had to put out a search party for the missing meat.

One of the male cooks did not have a mask on his face and talking over the food and eating. The guy was heavy, tall with facial hair. Smh. All other staff was masked.

As with ALL chipotles, you have the good and the bad. It depends on what shift is working and WHO manages. The Forestville an Clinton MD locations are inevitably horrible 25/8. This location here is not bad an tends to consistently be on a more decent level. The inside is always clean or being cleaned an the area where your bowls are prepared is clean too. The workers are nice.

This has got to be the most efficient Chipotle that I've ever visited! There was like 4 people on the front line! No mistakes with my order. Food was delicious!

They have patience. I went during lunch and was so surprised how patient they were with the type of customers they had. Seriously! It was A LOT going on but they handled it so well.

Why is the night shift so angry to be at work. The portions are extremely small. I lived in the area way before this place was opened. Just lost a local. Hope this establishment changes quick.

Pretty good, seems fresh, but they charge extra for every little thing. Chips. Cheese. Guac. Realized as we were eating that there was no cheese. Looked at menu, $2.50 for cheese! Stopped by Taco Bell for side of nacho cheese for 60¢.

Serves meat, some vegan options. Delicious food, a little dirty inside.

This Chipotle is sloppy and the workers are not friendly.. They throw your food around like slop for a pig. I will not be going back to spend my money at this establishment.

Had to show management a noticeable glitter heart was in my food. One of the cooks had a beard and his mask was past his nose while he was preparing the food. Yes I did let him know as well as I did get a refund but won't be back there, anymore.

It is helpful that preparation mistakes elsewhere have shortened the lines because I really, really, like the fresh presentation I get here. My wife who prefers "less spicy" can build a great meal here, which is great.

Great food. Service has really improved compared to a few years ago. Short, quick line. Friendly and efficient staff.

I didn't want to do this, as I love Chipotle but twice now, in 2 different areas of the state of Virginia have I had the Carnitas and it has made me sick to the point of as soon as I finished I had to violently throw up. It is sad because it means either it wasn't prepared properly or it was mishandled during preparation. Either way, I advise against the pork and sticking to chicken. The guacamole at this location also made me super sick. And I eat guac ALL THE TIME FROM OTHER PLACES OR MAKE IT MYSELF, so I know it was this location in particular. Otherwise, be prepared for long lines, but the workers do work them as quickly as possible. I'm taking a hiatus from them. District Taco is a great alternative and the prices are similar. ☹️

Worst, rudest service I’ve ever experienced at a chipotle. They can’t get an order right and they resent you for asking for what you want. They will also try to give you one small scoop of meat as opposed to the healthy 1.5 you get at any other location.

I like Chipotle. When I became a vegetarian this is one of the places I missed the most. Then they came out with the sofritas which is tofu. I love it! I do feel this option should come with guacamole like the vegetable one. I love all the add on options. Pricing is reasonable. I love the ability to take a bottle of hot sauce to my table and eat as much of it as I want.

Visited on Friday around 7pm. When I arrived, the store was not busy but then a line quickly formed behind me. The first person who takes your order kept calling people forward and bunching people close together. The person who add the toppings, as well as the cashier, had their masks under the nose. I moved away and noticed the man behind me did not have on a mask, which is required and staff did not address the matter. I told a woman working that two staff had their masks under their nose which is not allowed. She did address it with both staff members, but they did not seem to care why that may be important to a customer. Considering this is how safety procedures are followed in front of customers, I was not comfortable eating. I will not go back to this Chipotle.
